Wan Jun, The Coppermaul: boss guide

How the fight goes
Dirt and the red follow-up
PCGamesN says that when sand covers the screen a red attack is about to come, so dodge away, and that you also need to dodge when he pushes the hammer along the ground. Game8 says the dirt flies straight in front of him, so a sideways dodge is the clean answer, and that if the dirt blinds you, switch to defence because his grab can land while you cannot see. We do not merge the sand-into-red line with the ground push; they may be one move or two.
When he is on the ground
PCGamesN says that when he leaps up to land on his backside, dodge away and then attack while he is on his back, even if he is not guard-broken. Game8 instead names two stumble windows: wait out the ramming charge and stay close on the third ram, when he stumbles, and stay close during the spinning attack, which also ends in a stumble. Those may be different moves from the backside leap; both are shown.
The grab
Game8 says to watch for him throwing a hand behind him with a red glint, then dodge at once. PCGamesN does not name a grab.
How to beat Wan Jun
- Dodge sideways when dirt flies at you; if it blinds you, stop attacking (Game8).
- Dodge away when sand covers the screen, and when he pushes the hammer along the ground (PCGamesN).
- Hit him on his back after the backside leap, even if he is not guard-broken (PCGamesN).
- Stay close on the third ram and at the end of the spin, when Game8 says he stumbles.
- Dodge the red-glint grab the moment the hand goes back (Game8).
