    Chinese fan wiki: objectives.

How we handle it: PowerPyx: handing the ledger back gives a Sha-Chi Amber Fragment, Bloodstained Necklace and Backstreet Courtyard Key. Game Rant: the hand-in has two choices; "This won't absolve you of your sins." fights the Maskwalker and gives Amber plus the key. PC Gamer: the key comes from the follow-up Bai Xue quest after you speak to the woman there. We list every claim and do not pick one.

Game Rant: the ledger is in the caves below the Shrine Outer Gate (drop down, beat Kui Yanyan, ladder, hound cavern, crate-blocked cave). BWIKI: find the ledger, then return it to the pained Maskwalker.
