How the fight goes

Do not trade

Game8 calls her one of the most aggressive bosses and says trading hits goes badly. Perfect blocks are how you shred her guard meter and stagger her. Ghoststep counters from blue-glint parries and red-glint dodges are the other openings. PCGamesN does not talk about her guard meter.

Combo enders and the jump

Game8 names three strings that end on a blue-glint, parryable hit: a slash-thrust into a jumping slash, a jump dash after vertical spins, and a cyclone thrust. Learn the openings so you can parry the last hit. PCGamesN instead flags electrical spin attacks with a red attack right after, and a red attack immediately after she jumps into the sky or onto the roof. The electrical-spin line is PCGamesN only; the jump-then-red line may overlap Game8's jump dash, so both are shown.

Unblockable kicks

Game8 says the unblockable flip kick flashes red and can come at the end of a combo or from neutral, and that a perfect dodge against it is a big opening. A second unblockable is a thrusting strike after low spinning slashes on her knees. PCGamesN does not name those kicks.

How to beat Yubi

  • Block rather than trade; Game8 says perfect blocks shred her guard.
  • Parry the blue-glint hit that ends her three named combos (Game8).
  • Perfect-dodge the red attack after electrical spins, and after she jumps to the sky or the roof (PCGamesN).
  • Perfect-dodge the red-glint flip kick (Game8).
  • Do the Baishan Sect body step before this fight, or the tale fails (PowerPyx).
