How the fight goes
Normal fight
Fextralife calls him evasive: quick unarmed strikes, leaps and pounces, plus a habit of parrying your attack and countering at once. Its list includes a punch-punch-chop combo, a headbutt after he brings his arms together, a circling pounce, a reverse kick, double kicks in the air and a diving flying combo. Game8 says he is strictly melee and has no instant gap-closer.
Perfect Transcension
Fextralife says that around 50 percent health he turns more aggressive and keeps most moves. Some gain longer follow-ups and others become red-glint attacks, including a red-glint charge you evade with the dodge key on time.
How to beat Stone Hand Iron Fever
- Use the Outlaw Warblade. Game8 says its stagger resistance lets you charge an attack during his wind-ups and take the hit instead of blocking each strike.
- Only use the charged attack between his moves. Game8 warns he can block part of it, which costs a lot of Sha-Chi for half the damage.
- Kite him with Flying Daggers from range (Game8); he has no sudden gap-closing move.
- Dodge when he flips in midair. Game8 says most of his attacks can be blocked or parried, but this one ends in a Killer Move that only a dodge avoids; Fextralife says to step away from the headbutt range as well.
- Parry the chop at the end of the punch combo and the second air kick, both of which have a clear wind-up (Fextralife).
- In the second stage, watch the wind-ups: the red-glint charge needs a well-timed dodge, and his counters and longer combos are the main danger (Fextralife).
