How the fight goes
Palm-strike fighting
Fextralife says he mostly uses quick palm strikes that are mostly straight lines, so sideways dodges work well, plus a slow straight projectile (Ethereal Fist), a slow flying double palm, and a close two-fist strike that knocks both of you back. Some strikes have almost no wind-up.
Bell and bronze figures
Game8 says he summons three bronze figures that cannot be flinched or hurt until their bronze skin is broken. Fextralife describes a protective bell (Tempest Bell) that you drain by beating the figures. Beating the last one makes the bell explode.
How to beat Master Bi Hai
- Use Guard Break. Game8 says to bring weapons with a high Guard Break stat and heavy guard damage moves to crack the bronze skin.
- Do not get surrounded. Game8 says to keep dodging to reposition so the figures do not hit you from your blind spot.
- Kite the last figure to the arena edge before you finish it. Fextralife says its death blows up the bell, so be outside the blast radius.
- Dodge sideways against the palm strikes and the Ethereal Fist (Fextralife). You can interrupt him and play aggressively, but do not overextend.
- His red-glint attack is unblockable. Game8 calls it a shout and says to delay your dodge slightly because the hitbox comes a moment after the flash; if you dodge too early, a second dodge can still land a perfect dodge. Fextralife describes a red-glint burst of light from his head that you can interrupt.
