How the fight goes
Puppets and ranged attacks
Fextralife says he fires quick projectiles, hovers and swipes, spins through the air and slams a large puppet arm after red threads appear above him. Defeated minions summon puppets that chase you, and destroying those puppets also hurts Dusk.
Split into two
Game8 says that at low health he splits into two copies that each use his ranged and melee moves. Fextralife adds that the split puppets use area attacks such as hands bursting from the ground inside a red circle and a hovering arm that travels in a line.
After one copy falls
Fextralife says that once one is down, Dusk gains Bloody Strings, a close area attack that also sends puppets diving at you, and that you should clear the new puppets before going back to him.
How to beat Dusk
- Kill the puppets first and keep Dusk in view. Game8 says they hit melee only and can come from your blind side.
- Lure the puppets into his line when using a long weapon so one swing hurts both (Game8).
- Dodge after his forward claw rush, because the last hit is a Killer Move (Game8). For his flying swipes, Fextralife says to block to the last swipe, then dodge the red-glint finisher.
- When he summons two puppets and then blinks in front of you, Game8 says that is a Brutal Move you can parry to trigger Ghoststep. Wait until the puppets finish before parrying.
- After the split, kill one copy at a time and do not back off, or both will pelt you with ranged attacks (Game8).
- Move away from the red circles where puppet hands will rise (Fextralife).
