How the fight goes

Phase one

She is an eerie woman who floats and teleports around the arena, and rarely touches the ground. She hits Soul with long, fast strikes.

Phase two: the transformation

She transforms. A helper, which one preview calls the Chord, can join the fight and chip away at her health while Soul backs off and recovers. The preview says the help is missable and depends on unspecified tasks.

How to beat Bai Chilian

• Because she hovers, a ranged weapon is suggested, and so is answering her red-light and blue-light skills with perfect dodges and perfect guards.
• When her helper joins in the second phase, use the time to back off and recover.
• The game saves after each boss phase, so a death in phase two resumes at phase two with her still transformed.
